Short-Term Running Goals:

Continue to run relatively consistently (3-4 times/wk). Run 5 miles as a comfortable distance.

Run faster (8-9 min/mile) and increase trail running ability. 

Long-Term Running Goals:

Stay in shape to prevent diabetes, high BP, osteoporosis. Run enough to support my mexican food habit!

Walked on the New Deal track with Rae, Arby, and Trevor after eating BBQ!

Walked on the greenbelt with Arby. I've been wearing the diclofenac patch on my torn calf muscle, but there's still point tenderness over the injury and some twinges of pain.

Walked 1 mile between running 2 miles at the park today. My calf feels like it's on the edge of being blown out and there's tingling down the lateral aspect. Also I can see bruising coming back where the muscle was torn after I run. This car accident has undone about 4 years of effort on my part since I'm not a good runner and it took a lot of work to get to where I was just a month ago.
