Short-Term Running Goals:
Continue to run relatively consistently (3-4 times/wk). Run 5 miles as a comfortable distance.
Run faster (8-9 min/mile) and increase trail running ability.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Stay in shape to prevent diabetes, high BP, osteoporosis. Run enough to support my mexican food habit!
Personal:
Calf muscle sore and bruised after running on Saturday. Lateral calf feels ok.
Ran 2, walked 1, ran 1 and walked 0.5. Calf muscle felt ok today, but is still bruised and stiff in the morning. We'll see how it feels tomorrow.
Calf is sore and aching today. Probably because it's now 30 years old...
Ran 2, walked 0.6, ran 1.5, walked 0.7. My calf did not feel good. The spot on the back was sore and my lateral malleolus felt unstable.
Walked one and ran one on the treadmill, half on a slight incline. Lateral calf soreness the next day.
